Enjoy a sultry soul session from the storied stage at Bearly’s House of Blues. Fronted by honey-toned singer and trumpeter Paul St-Amand, Then Joy Curve brings chilled out R&B vibes and electric flights of improvisation. Guitarist Kenneth Pasher, bassist Nate Caravan, and drummer Josh Awe spin out tight, deeply funky grooves while St-Amand’s voice and horn glide above.

Paul and his quintet lead a late-night jam session to close out Thursday at the Halifax Jazz Festival. You never know who might sit in! The quintet performs a set at 9:30pm, followed by an open jam session until the wee hours. No cover.
